I came across this narrow kitchen/ bedroom, and thought its layout would be perfect for a shipping container home.  I added a bathroom in-between (to keep all of the plumbing together.)  With this layout, there would be a larger living area and a full kitchen. This week's plan is a combination of some of my favorite things...  As a yogi, I would love to have a space designated for my practice.  I'm also a ballet fan, so the studio could also have a built in barre for exercises.  I would also love a guest house on my property for when family visits.  Maybe this will be a good temporary space to live in while I build my dream home.  Also, since I love homes made from shipping containers, I figured it would be awesome to use 2 - 8' x 40' containers.  I love this rustic bark wall and wood frame to hold yoga mats.  Source Great exterior... I really like the way the entryway has its own lower level, separating from the rest of the living space.  Source I'm not usually a fan of small kitchens, but this one is a mind changer. All of the great elements combined, white sink with matching subway tile, stainless steal appliances, and wood block counter.  Source Here are a few more awesome little kitchens....
